As the crisp fall weather and beautiful foliage begin to emerge, bikers are out in force to enjoy the roadways, increasing the risk of motorcycle accidents. A New Jersey woman recently lost her life after being involved in a fatal accident that involved her motorcycle and two cars. Reports indicate that the woman worked as a veterinary technician and was respected and loved by many people in her community. Motorcycle accidents can result in tragedy and leave family, friends and neighbors to mourn their loss.
The evening accident took place shortly after sunset as the technician was driving her motorcycle on a local road. As she continued south, another vehicle traveling on the north side of the street crashed into her. Records do not state how the sedan came to be in the same lane as the motorcycle.
The jarring impact caused the woman to fly from her bike, throwing her away from the bike and into the path of another motorist. The oncoming car tragically struck the victim as she was tossed. Paramedics transferred the badly injured woman to a nearby medical facility where doctors announced that she had lost her life.
Neither of the car drivers suffered physical injury from the crash. When motorcycle accidents involve a collision with a vehicle, the damage inflicted to a rider can be magnified in comparison to what a motorist may experience. In such cases, loved ones may incur costly medical bills and suffer financial strain from funeral expenses. The family of the deceased New Jersey woman may seek professional help with investigating the accident in an attempt to prove liability and gain restitution.
