New Jersey residents may know from experience that marriage is not always forever. And celebrities are certainly not exempt from broken marriage. Recently, Bruce and Kris Jenner of the Kardashian reality show fame announced that they are getting divorced.
Bruce and Kris Jenner have been married since 1991 when they blended their two separate families to create their own family. Kris Jenner was previously married to Robert Kardashian and had four children with him. Bruce Jenner has four children from previous relationships. Bruce and Kris together had two daughters of their own. The couple may be best known for their reality television show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” The divorce filing cites the reason for the split as Bruce’s disinterest in continuing his life in the media spotlight. Sources have said that during the marriage Kris Jenner kept moving forward with the media ambitions while Bruce grew tired of it. The couple remains friends and has said that their family is still their top priority.
Although celebrity divorce is quite commonplace, non-celebrities also have divorce legal issues. Divorce can bring up intense emotions among couples along with disputes over child support, spousal support, child custody, and other related matters. A legal professional skilled in family law can help a couple with their questions regarding divorce and determine a plan that works toward the client’s best interest.
As much as divorce is viewed as commonplace in this day and age, there is still the potential for complex divorce issues. Developing a strategic divorce plan can assist a person with this emotional transition and help them move on with life.
